Twiggle Builders
Platform: Mobile Engine: Unity
Role: Game Designer
Twiggle Builders is a progression-based, puzzle game within Fer.al where players complete crafting requests by placing paths and workstations in an assembly setting. Once placed, players would initiate the process and their NPC workers would attempt to complete the orders.
The win state would be achieved if players could complete the requested orders where as the fail state would occur if players ran out of resources, delivered the wrong items, or created “junk” products.
The goal for this design was to create a logic-based game experience that utilized an existing location, characters and asset.

Collaborated with the art team to create the environment and assets

Documented game details, iterations, and expansions
Provided producers with updates regarding sprint goals and steps
Level Designer

POSTMORTEM
During the prototype and pre-production stages, the pathing system underwent five iterations before the team was happy with the outcome. While the process of the iteration, testing, and reviewing was fruitful, it did weigh heavy on the rest of the experience during the early sprints. This was a valuable learning moment and provided an opportunity to grow a feature by simple taking a step back from it.
